The afternoon Blue route EXPRESS to Canaan will depart five minutes earlier, departing Vail DMS at 4:45 p.m. and DHMC at 5:05 p.m. The regular Blue route bus to Lebanon will depart Vail DMS at 4:50 p.m. and DHMC at 5:10 p.m. The last Red route bus of the day will depart West Lebanon for Lebanon at 6:25 p.m. instead of 6:30 p.m. New schedules include a handful of other minor Blue, Brown, and Red route adjustments. Green and Orange route timetables remain unchanged.
Advance Transit has been awarded Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) through the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) to purchase two transit buses. The contract for the diesel-powered buses has been awarded throgh a competitive process to Northern Bus Sales in Hudson, New Hampshire.
The 27-passenger International / Eldorado buses will meet new EPA
